APJ Abdul Kalam, who is known as Missile Man for his contributions towards the developments of India's missile projects. He was the 11th President of India He was made President of India in 2002. At the same time, after the completion of a five-year period, he returned to education, writing and public service. He often spoke to children and the country's youth and inspiring them to think big in life. He also penned a number of books. 

Former President Kalam was born on October 15, 1931 in Rameshwaram. He studied at St. Joseph's College, Tiruchirapalli. Former President APJ Abdul Kalam, who passed away on July 27, 2015 in Shillong, had gone to give lecture in IIM Shillong, during which he had passed away due to heart attack.

Central Government Schemes PM-KISAN Scheme (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi)   Main purpose: This scheme promises to pay all poor farmers (small and marginal farmers having lands up to 2 hectares) Rs. 6,000 each year in 3 installments through Direct Bank Transfer.
