The 37-year-old England veteran James Andresen has become the world's fastest bowler to score 150 matches in Test cricket history. He also holds the record for picking wickets on the first ball of the Test against South Africa.

Centurion: A test match between host South Africa and England has begun at the SuperSport Park ground here. In the meantime, England veteran right-arm fast bowler James Andresen has set a historic record.

James Andresen holds the world record for the fastest bowler to score 150 Test matches in world cricket. This is why the Centurion took the wicket in the first delivery of the Test match. He is the fifth bowler to take a wicket in the first ball of a Test match this decade, and the fourth bowler in England to have achieved this feat.
