*Dr. Sarojini Mahishi* Report...

Karnataka has a population share of 5.31% India is getting only 3.41% of Union jobs. We all know that even in this 3.41% half are from other states.
Dr. Sarojini Mahishi
Dr. Sarojini Mahishi

Effective implementation of Dr. Sarojini Mahishi will get us:

1. To get Karnataka’s rightful share in all the Indian jobs (See Chart of the government of India survey).
2. To get the control of the seat of power at Vidhana Soudha, which is captured by migrant lobbies through deceit.
3. To get Kannadigas their OWN jobs in Karnataka government and other jobs in Karnataka.
4. To throw out forgers in seat of power who have used false migration certificates, false Kannada proficiency certificates, etc. apart from regular corruption in recruitment methods.

A comparative study of all states of India has been published in the article “State of the States”.The overall ratings have placed Karnataka at 8th place four ranks below Kerala at 2nd Rank and Tamilnadu, which is at 4th rank. Other ranks:

  1. Punjab
  2. Kerala
  3. Himachal Pradesh
  4. TamilNadu
  5. Haryana
  6. Maharastra
  7. Gujarat
  8. Karnataka

This study has covered various aspects like:

  1. Agriculture
  2. Law & order
  3. Health
  4. Education
  5. Infrastructure
  6. Investment
  7. Budget & prosperity
  8. Socially most progressive
  9. Socially most developed
  10. Size of GDP
  11. Per capita income
  12. Population below the poverty line

Please ponder over these facts:

In British India, British had headquarters at fort St.George, Chennai giving Tamil Nadu advantage, over the defeated state like Mysore. This was evident in many issues like the Kaveri water distribution. But in spite of this handicap visionary Mysore kings and their administrators called Diwans achieved many firsts in India, which had placed Mysore as a most progressive and industrial state:
  • 1st state to start a planned economy.
  • 1st electric generating station in India: Shivanasamudra.
  • 1st city in India to get electricity: Bangalore
  • 1st electric street lights in India: Bangalore
  • 1st major irrigation dam: Krishnarajasagar.
  • 1st gold mining in India: Kolar and Hatti.
  • 1st radio station: Mysore.
  • 1st state to ban child marriage.
  • 1st state to introduce family planning.
  • 1st state to give reservation to untouchable in government jobs.
  • 1st state to start a separate school for girls.
  • 1st state to start a separate college for girls.
  • 1st state to start the co-operative department in government.
  • 1st Sandalwood oil factory.
  • 1st Agriculture school.
  • 1st Agriculture University.
  • Earliest Engineering College.
  • Earliest Medical College.
  • 1st aircraft manufacturing factory.
  • 1st iron and steel factory in south India.
  • 1st science Research center: Indian Institute of Science.
  • 1st modern layout with wide roads, conservancy lane, and underground drainage, etc. at Chamarajpeth, Bangalore
  • Pioneer in sugar, cotton and cloth industry.
  • Eight of Top ten public sector banks of India were started.

The all above proves futuristic vision and the institution-building capacity of Kannadigas. Today Karnataka has the highest number of engineering and medical colleges. Top IT companies are built by Kannadigas. But even they have failed to give jobs to Kannadigas. What an irony. Infosys and Wipro practice Affirmative Action in the USA but fail to do so in Karnataka. They too need to reflect the population profile of Karnataka in their organization in each department at each level. Do Azim Premji and Narayana Murthy hear??

  1. Then how can we fall behind states whose people migrated to Karnataka just in search of unskilled labor jobs? How can we fall behind to states, which have systematically stolen our jobs? (See the enclosed chart of Government of India survey).
  2. Why did we lose our leading position?
  3. Does our progress become our curse?? Does our tolerance will lead to our elimination as a linguistic community?? Where is all our talent, which reached Zenith of good governance not once but many times in history after the fall of the Mauryan Empire?
  4. We defeated Arabs in 711 AD at South Gujarat (Chalukya Vinayaditya of Badami), We conquered Cambodia, and we ruled from Gujarat to West Bengal, covering major parts of Madhya Pradesh, Orissa to border of Tamilnadu down south. What is our state today?
  5. The success of our Good governance is well documented till the fall of the Vijaya nagara empire: Diamonds and precious stones were sold like on street like vegetables; people did not lock their houses as there were no thieves etc This was possible because the Kings and administrators were the SONS OF KANNADA SOIL. They were not colonialists or occupying forces.
  6. Our grace is shown even in our treatment of an enemy who did repeatedly start unprovoked wars by unnecessarily breaking our irrigation tanks. We only defeated them, never plundered their towns except on one occasion when Mayura Verma demolishes Kanchi. Their cheap mind works the same even today when we all know through science that we can only hold 3 to 4 % of total rainfall in spite of all modern dams. The object and stop the desolation program of dams and tanks approved and financed by the World Bank.
  • Our writ does not run in Vidhana Soudha.
  • Today Bangalore ranks number one position in the National crime records bureau for the highest number of cheating cases in India, because of people who worship JACKALS and STEAL other food or jobs.

  4. To throw out forgers in the seat of power who have used false migration certificates, false Kannada proficiency certificates, etc apart from regular corruption in recruitment methods.

Points to Ponder*G.O.-DPAR 37 SLC 84 dated 2-2-1985 has defined the term "KANNADIGA" as follows: " Kannadiga means a person who can read, write and talk in Kannada and has a working knowledge of Kannada".

*According to 1971 census percentage of Kannada speaking people is only 65.94% in Karnataka and 32.47% in Bangalore.

*We shall discuss direct constitutional provisions on which Dr. Sarojini Mahishi report is based after you read this and send your opinion, suggestion for improvement of report serial number wise.

*If you are an advocate and wish to render your service, we welcome whole-heartedly.

*We must remember that these recommendations are 20 years old and attempt to address the problems of sons of the soil in an old manufacturing economy of the pre globalization era. Even these harmless recommendations were implemented half-heartedly by ALIEN dominated bureaucracy through successive governments irrespective of the color of political parties. We need to update these recommendations in tune with the globalized economy dominated by service industries, BPO through learning by other examples like the USA, who had faced such problems earlier.

*We must also remember that this ALIEN dominated bureaucracy shows loyalty to its native land through sabotaging interests of Kannada people from fundamental issues like water to the award of contract for daily garbage collection by BMP. Hence we lose court battles in Kaveri and Krishna, by depending on them.

*But there is an opposite example of what we can achieve if we unshackle from ALIENS: Farmers of JEWARGI town (Shri. Dharam Singh's Constituency)in Gulbarga district went Supreme Court by collecting contributions from citizens and won case for Bheema water against Maharastra.
